At the moment, no topic is being discussed as hotly as migration. The government has long since followed the right-wing course: Migration is seen as a problem and should be limited at all costs. The debate about escape and asylum is conducted largely without facts. This fuels fears and racism and makes migrants a scapegoat for social problems. Without further ado, minimum standards of the rule of law and human rights are sacrificed for populist headlines.
We say: No! and oppose the attempt with resolute vigor, to further promote the disenfranchisement of people on the run. The problem has many names. It's called populism, it means isolation and exclusion.
Asylum is a human right and migration has always been and is still human normality today. The observance of peoples- and human rights standards is indispensable! On the occasion of a nationwide day of action on 14.12. let's take to the streets together, to set an example for an end to pushbacks that violate human rights and the criminalization of refugees and their supporters. We demand humane asylum- and migration policy and an open society!
From 15:00 there will be an information stand, to talk to people in front of the town hall over tea. From 17:00 There will then be a rally in front of the town hall. Come in large numbers and bring friends and allies with you. Let's take a stand against the shift to the right in politics and society!
