Environment House Kassel

Kassel wants to 2030 become climate neutral. In addition to the Climate Protection Council, who suggests measures to political decision-makers to achieve the climate goals, There are a multitude of actors within urban society, Initiatives and associations, who develop and advance concrete proposals. The UmweltHaus also supports this process at various points, a contribution to this is the Event series “Kassel Worth Living”.
With the series of events we want - as in recent years - to show ways and concepts for increasing the quality of life in Kassel and also address controversial situations within our city.
At the lecture “Would be a ban on private flights in the airport Kassel Calden justified?” am 13.02.2024 Alexandra Walker from Greenpeace will give an overview of the current situation of private flights at Kassel Calden Airport and critically question them. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss.
The event will take place in the UmweltHaus on Wilhelmsstrasse 2, Kassel will take place.
Everyone is cordially invited.
