Environment House Kassel
Kassel wants to 2030 become climate neutral. In addition to the Climate Protection Council, who suggests measures to political decision-makers to achieve the climate goals, There are a multitude of actors within urban society, Initiatives and associations, who develop and advance concrete proposals. The UmweltHaus also supports this process at various points, a contribution to this is the Event series “Liveable Kassel”.
We want to do this with the series of events – like in the last few years – Show ways and concepts for increasing the quality of life in Kassel and also address controversial situations within our city.
In the launch event “Impact-oriented climate debates – How to achieve successful climate communication and dealing with climate change deniers?” am 30.01.2024 is Carel Mohn from klimafakten.de provide an overview of effective climate communication and strategies for dealing with hostility confidently. Afterwards we want to discuss, what what we learned applies to our everyday lives, Activism or for our work means.
The event will take place in the UmweltHaus on Wilhelmsstrasse 2, Kassel will take place.
