Environment House Kassel
Kassel wants to 2030 become climate neutral. In addition to the Climate Protection Council, who suggests measures to political decision-makers to achieve the climate goals, There are a multitude of actors within urban society, Initiatives and associations, who develop and advance concrete proposals. The UmweltHaus also supports this process at various points, a contribution to this is the Event series “Liveable Kassel”.
Mit der Veranstaltungsreihe wollen wir – like in the last few years – Show ways and concepts for increasing the quality of life in Kassel and also address controversial situations within our city.
In the launch event “Wirkungsorientierte Klimadebatten – Wie gelingt Klimakommunikation und der Umgang mit Leugner*innen des Klimawandels?” am 30.01.2024 wird Carel Mohn von klimafakten.de einen Überblick wirksame Klimakommunikation und Strategien zum souveränen Umgang mit Anfeindungen geben. Im Anschluss wollen wir diskutieren, was das Gelernte für unseren Alltag, Aktivismus oder für unsere Arbeit bedeutet.
