Many courageous people have been taking to the streets in Iran for several weeks, to protest against the regime of the Islamic Republic. What was initially a reaction to the disastrous economic situation in the country, escalates into a new peak of resistance against the government. Previous waves of protests were suppressed with violence and arrests. This time too, the government committed a massacre of the population, Tens of thousands were murdered and imprisoned. The outcome of the uprisings across the country is still uncertain, many hope for an end to the mullahs' rule. Because the regime is brutal, anti-Semitic ideology, oppresses the entire population, but especially women, homosexual people and minorities. About this rule, to better understand their structures and ideologies, we want on 05. Februar Stephan Grigats Text “Terror from Tehran. The anti-Semitism of the Ayatollahs, the structure of the Iranian regime and German Iran policy” read. It is a chapter from this book, S.83-122. https://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/bitstream/handle/document/102496/ssoar-2025-grigat-Vom_Antijudaismus_zum_Hass_auf.pdf?sequence=1&isAllowed=y
