McCormac writes his songs the way he speaks: Open, honest and sometimes a little too much. Growing up as a bass player on the stages of the North Hesse metropolitan region, he has been playing since 2017 also his own songs. Only with a guitar and loop station, now with the whole band. Together they tour the country's small shops with their German indie rock and are looking for those who have moved away, the last conversations on a long evening, the feeling of being in love and always after yourself.
With the new EP “LIEBEEINSPUNKTEINS” MacCormac looks at the topic of dating through the lens of today. From the first butterflies in your stomach to having a crazy crush, From the first doubts to the sadness after the separation, MacCormac works through his feelings and experiences from past relationships and gives impetus to question classic role models.
It emerged from the desolation of the village Richie Miller House Band Mouthpiece for everything, what’s on the four musicians’ minds. Whether it's the actually nice neighbor, whose German flag in the garden is a harbinger for his Facebook timeline or the fear of it, in life after punk rock in the office: The German-language texts pack serious messages as well as remarkable anecdotes and stories with a good dose of self-irony. There are also sharp guitars, loud basslines and a lot of noise on the drum set, to give the messages the necessary volume.
And in between there are nose flute solos, spontaneous third verses, inverted stadium parts, Vocal practice lessons from U to A and moments to hug. The Richie Miller House Band stands for punk rock with charm and high entertainment value. And for a good atmosphere, in front of and next to the stage!
The concert experience ranges from festival performances such as Open Flair, Rock at the edge of the pool, Hütte Rockt or the Heimatzoo Festival to national city festivals such as the Fete de la Musique, the Carnival of Cultures in Berlin or the Pavement Festival (sold out) Club shows in the Göttingen Nörgelbuff, the Lux Hannover or the Münster barracks.
The four also have a band van with a Sylt sticker (punk rock) and the drummer can drive a tractor.
Shoes laced, Put on your favorite band shirt and head to the mosh pit, because the four of them are up for it!
