Digital communication usually requires fiber optics, DSL, Cellular – so always a service provider, who provides the infrastructure (and controlled). Meshtastic is a project, which uses very inexpensive radio modules according to the LoRa standard, and that enables communication without third-party infrastructure.
We start at 21.02.2026 one 14:00 a working group in flipdot hackspace. We agree on our goals at the start meeting, z.B. get to know the hard- and software, Antenna selection and construction of antennas, Building a Meshtastic network here in the region.
