MULTILINGUALE DIASPORISCHE SOAP-OPERA

DE: Lent in the Migrant Politan: While Khalaf and Mustapha are trying, stick to the tough rules of Ramadan, others like Issa or Leyla don’t do anything about religious custom. Abou has other concerns anyway and is embarking on a dubious project with music producer Larry Deluxe. Then the beautiful Yasmin, persecuted by their own family, appears in the Migrant Politan, everything gets mixed up. And even German strangers mingle with the people in a strikingly inconspicuous manner … Right to stay, Heartache, Afro-Vegan-Revolution, Stress with the authorities, false suspicions and the eternal issue: Where is Mecca again exactly?? RAMADRAM is an experimental self-made soap opera, whose storylines are taken from life, but were fictionalized and improvised. After the speculative reality show HELLO DEUTSCHLAND - DIE EINWANDERER, New Media Socialism is continuing its self-proclaimed mission, to improve the media presentation of migrants and refugees in Germany using emancipatory methods. The film was shot exclusively in the Migrantpolitan by and with community members. Attention spoilers: There is also dancing. Exclusive live screenings at the main film location Migrantpolitan - in the presence of the performers.
