As a result of this development, affordable housing has decreased significantly, Discrimination in the housing market has increased – albeit often hidden.

Political scientist Eva Gertz will provide information on these developments in her lecture. Questions are then discussed, how housing policy in Kassel has developed in a national comparison, how the development of housing policy and discrimination work together and what local policy can be done to counteract it.
