That the world, who we know, falls apart in a hurry, was palpable even before the corona crisis. Whether climate, Finances, economy, Social systems, democracy, Migration or international relations – The word crisis has long been a matter of course. With the spread of the corona virus, this general crisis is escalating at a rate and scale, as hardly anyone could have imagined until recently.

Air conditioning- and corona crisis demonstrate impressively, that "our economy" is not up to existential challenges. The climate crisis revealed, that with their principles “Eternal growth, Maximum profit, Rising stock prices “the destruction of the planet is programmed. The corona crisis also drastically shows, that this economy would produce mountains of corpses in no time, if it were not interfered with massively. The emergency brake is pulling at the moment, more bad than right, the state and it leads everything to absurdity, what was considered irrefutable and sacred yesterday – from the debt brake to the supposedly so beneficial effect of the market itself.

But the sparrows whistle from the roofs, what consequences these governmental attempts at ventilation will have on the economy. Because states and central banks cannot flood them with money arbitrarily and with impunity. The system is becoming even more vulnerable to crises and is already overshadowing everything, what we 2008/2009 and have experienced in the following years. The cynical and shameless appeals are already piling up, people may go back to work and become infected. People die better than the economy collapses, is the oath of revelation of capitalism.

A return to the so-called normal state, some still dream of, there won't be. They cannot exist either. For that reason alone, because with this economy we would be even more exposed to the next epidemic. Leaving their absurd and destructive logic is our literal interest in survival. The climate protection movement can only be successful, if she addresses this and demands it. She doesn't, it will continue to bounce off the argument with the jobs like a rubber wall. Because who has to work, to earn money, so that he can live, is trapped even then, if he understood, that it can't go on like this.

But there is no factual connection between a good and stable food supply and rising share prices. In a reasonably organized economy, automobile production could be massively reduced, without missing the means for good health care. Only the absurd logic of capital appreciation is currently enforcing this connection.

But we don't have to be left helpless. With our productivity, our knowledge, We can also use our skills and our imagination in a completely different way, without repeating the tragic aberration of state socialism. We will really do business sustainably and banish the pressure to grow and share prices to the museum. Our business will finally become the material wealth, that we need to live have at the center: dress, food, health, housing, education, science, culture – for all humans.

Because much of it, what we are currently working for, only serves the destructive logic of capital appreciation, we become a lot, what people have to work for today, abolish without replacement and significantly reduce many other things. Also, when we finally have enough time and opportunities for the necessary care activities such as. will have health care, we can massively reduce working hours across society. Our lives are getting richer, be safer and better.
