At least since the corona pandemic, everyone has heard of conspiracy theories: Bill Gates and the WHO want to chip everyone and establish their world domination, Corona is an American bio-weapon used to subjugate the world, and so on…
But conspiracy theories are not a modern invention. They are a tool that people have tried for a long time, influencing and exercising power over one another. To this day, conspiracy theories are an immense threat to democracy and peaceful coexistence. That is why we as a society have to deal with them, they understand and invalidate.
This workshop shows with scientific principles and creative methods, what unites different conspiracy theories and how critical inquiries can be distinguished from belief in the world conspiracy.

The event will take place with the Microsoft “Teams” video conference tool. An internet-enabled device with a microphone is required for participation, Camera and stable internet connection required. The "Teams" software is not required. Participation via the browser is possible.
