Peripherie magazine has always made this its mission, global conflicts “to think from the edges” and would like to let perspectives have their say with this issue, that in the current debate about the 7. October 2024 and the Gaza war are rarely heard, u.a. also Palestinian, Jewish-South African and critical Israeli voices. The booklet includes 17 Posts, u.a. by Ghassan Hage, Amos Goldberg, Peter Ullrich, Moshe Zuckermann, Ilse Lenz and Michael Rothberg, The content ranges from definitions of anti-Semitism to politics of the past and the documenta 15 to Palestinian realities. The authors Hanna Al Taher, Reinhart Kößler and Aram Ziai will present their and other contributions, Anil Shah will moderate the event.
