What is your trigger actually? Trigger warnings pop up all over the internet. The "Bento" magazine explained: “Trigger” is English and means trigger. In relation to human emotions, it is actually used in psychology, for things, that can trigger memories of traumatic experiences. The term first found its way onto the Internet via trigger warnings, with which potentially traumatizing content is provided.
The artist collective “Schaum und Rausch” poses the question, what actually happens, when our consumer behavior gets into a mental crisis. Does our consumer behavior have a soul and if so?, how would a healing take place?
In a staged performance shoot, "Schaum und Rausch" present a Dadaist therapy session, in which the consumption monster is questioned by the figure of the curtain woman using self-help DIY videos. The desperate attempt, Healing the consumption monster is interrupted by the character of the alien and a new protagonist: Dem Kitchenboy. The fight for it, Keeping your attention quickly becomes a challenge.
The performance is recorded in 360 ° and the recordings are used for artistic work. Participation in the performance requires the consent of the visitors to film recordings of themselves.
