Prefabricated construction is an international Berlin quartet, the elements of post-punk, Noise rock and wave to a dark one, an intense brew. Plattenbau's sound combines mechanical sounding drums, goth-tinged bass lines, mystical guitars and paranoid wailing synths in a mixture, which is reminiscent of the soundtrack of a 90s horror film. The whole thing is held together by intimate ones, deep and dark vocals. The result is a sound world that appears chaotic and carefully composed at the same time - in keeping with their motto: „Tight, loose and evil“.
The band became 2011 founded, inspired by the brutalist architecture of the post-Soviet landscape of East Berlin. As an integral part of the Berlin underground scene, the band has developed over the years both personally and in their sound, until she found her current cast: Lewis Lloyd (Vocal/Synth), Sally Brown (Bass/Throat), Brandon Walsh (Drums) and Jesper Munk (Guitar/Synth).
