Queer it. Collagen- and zine workshop
Fairy tale, Mythen, Disney films – they often tell us similar stories, but what is actually said between the lines??
Characters appear in many stories and relationships, which are not directly named, but only hinted at.
Queers, that the film industry wanted to hide and that still shine through.
In our workshop for young queers let's track down these codes. We look at each other, how “queer coding” works, which characters and relationships are told and what becomes visible or remains invisible.
We analyze characters together, question norms and develop your own characters and kshort stories.
With writing, We open up spaces for exchange through profiles and collages, creative experiments and new perspectives on well-known stories.
In the end we create a zine together, that collects and displays our results:
Stories can also be read and retold differently.
