Henschel site
In the Rothenditmold district of Kassel there is the Henschel site (Wolfhagen Street 109) a huge area, that invites you to wish.
To get an idea of the terrain, we load in first part our event to one Tour of the site on.
in one second part, do we have the PlanBude from Hamburg to guest. With the principles “Accessible, exemplary, democratically, open-ended, broad, organized on site” the association develops participation- and planning processes. Founded in response to the urban conflict surrounding the Esso stores in Hamburg, developed by the group of urban planners, Artists, architects, cultural workers, social workers and much more. an intensive participatory process, a platform for collective desire production, that focuses on the needs of the local people and the knowledge on the street.

We invited people from the PlanBude team, to outline their work for us and to give us impulses for a solidary urban development. Also, we wonder: Are such planning processes also conceivable for the Henschel site?- and doable? And what does it take for that?
