Sandershaus, Kassel
The Outletters are the house band of the legendary Kassel underground label „Outlet“. Inspired by the Jamaican pioneers of dub, UK Steppers and Krautrock they play a live PA with synthesizers, Samplern, electric guitar and effects. In doing so, they eclectically combine their musical inspirations and blend the danceable musical idioms of those hailing from Jamaica, but now practiced globally, Sound system culture with the amateurish experimentation of krautrock. Afterwards they end the evening with a DJ set.
