In times, in which we should get really nice again, It lurks in absurdities and curious surprises. For some joyful -, For most, however, the exact opposite. There were already so many options in history, To turn the sheet once and for all - away from war, Away from the upgrade, Way of militarization – but no, The spark has not yet jumped over, After all, death is also a master from Germany.

War and capitalism, A closely linked tragedy.

We dive into the salad of the past decades and this time tell the story of one of the most unpleasant companies: Rheinmetall, One of the world's biggest arms exporters. Hardly any war in the world has not been equipped with weapons from Rheinmetall in the past hundred years. Despite the time, despite the advice, Rheinmetall was always at the start. And right now it is back at the forefront. But that, who rebel and say: “No, for war!”, They have always existed and has always existed.

Ernst Toller formulated it a hundred years ago, Shortly after the First World War, the lost revolution of 1918 and the following years: “Hoppla, we live!” After the nuclear weapons should be built and should actually disappear in the closet again at the end of the last century, We suddenly sing back a hundred years later: “Hoppla, We die!”

An event with the alliance “Disarm Rheinmetall”

“It was impressive. In the large house of the Berlin Volksbühne was on 11. July the play “Hoppla, We die! Rheinmetall: A German history ”listed. AgitProp at its finest. How are capitalism and war related? What is actually imperialism? And what was and is Rheinmetall for a group? The audience participated, as you rarely experience in such theaters: It clapped rhythmically about music and singing, Sing and also called slogans. At the end of the almost two -hour performance there were standing ovation. The liveliness in the hall was something special in these rooms that evening.”
