Nachdem wir im Mai die Workshop-Premiere wetterbedingt in die Straßenbahn verlegen mussten, wollen wir es im zweiten Anlauf nochmal probieren: Im Urban Sketching- & Leporello workshop with Caro Pysalski, we go on an exploration tour through the greenest part of the northern part of the city with our eyes open and a pen in hand. Search in and around Kassel's main cemetery, Let's collect and discover motifs together that we draw on our fanfolds. In its simplest form, a Leporello is a long folded strip of paper and offers a lot of exciting possibilities for recording drawings. At the beginning of the workshop we make our notebooks together and discover what is possible.

Carolin (*1996) is an artist and comic artist from Kassel. She prefers to sit with a sketchbook on sunny park benches or in cafés. She usually documents her surroundings, captures fleeting moments, Details and thoughts. It's almost like a meditation. Ideas for illustrations and stories often arise from the collected motifs. The most interesting drawings for her are those, that have something sudden about them, are not too covered.
