Jeanine Áñez, which followed the disputed presidential elections of 20. October last year without a vote in Parliament itself to “Interim president” Bolivia declared, did not fall from the sky, to the “Bolivian democracy” to rescue. Their rise was on the evening of 10. November 2019 decided during a bizarre meeting in La Paz.
Officiated at the time President Evo Morales from the “Movement to Socialism” (BUT) had a few hours before announcing his resignation and La Paz already left, after its safety was no longer guaranteed.
The speaker of the event – Björn Brunner, Student and freelance journalist (young world) experienced the change of power on the spot and tried on the basis of experience reports, the economic, political and social interests, to make contradictions and power relations visible for supremacy in Bolivia.
