18:00 - 20:00
University of Kassel, Kassel
We're glad, that the editors:inside and author:inside the collection volume “Why anti-Semitism?? On the politics of anti-Semitism in the area of tension between collective and subject” come to Kassel, to talk about the book's contributions.
With: Stefan Venmann, Anne-Maika Krüger, Felix Kronau, Franziska Haug and Paul Erxleben
From the blurb: “By participating in anti-Semitic practices, the individual always emerges as a political subject. In the imagined fight against 'the Jews' it seems possible, to break out of the oppressive reality of late capitalism and gain new ability to act. The collected contributions provide building blocks for a theory of anti-Semitic subjectification, examine the formation of corresponding collectives and discuss current phenomena.”
It is an event organized by the Department of Practical Philosophy at the University of Kassel in cooperation with the Alliance for Diversity in Feminism.
