In our society, last words are often given great importance and are sometimes embellished in an almost heroic manner. In reality, most people are unfortunately often denied profound farewells and the moment of saying goodbye, if at all possible, hardly corresponds to the pictures, that we had in mind beforehand. It is not uncommon for those left behind to agonize over sentences years later, that remained unspoken.
We want to dedicate ourselves to the topic of unsaid words in the workshop with the artist Ali Mahmoud. To do this, Ali opens a safe room, in which participants can discuss and reflect on their feelings in peace. The words are then recorded on stones, which can then be freely designed.
The inspiration for Ali's own artwork comes from people, their good and bad sides, their pain, their happiness, their different psychological states and their feelings about the past, Present and future. It comes from deep thoughts, that we have, but don't say.
It is his biggest goal, more feelings related to freedom, love, Wut, peace, Discovering sadness and self-acceptance, to convey these feelings to them and encourage them to do so, to think and feel about yourself.
