Forward and don't forget? SJD – The hawks, Workers' welfare, Nature lovers(-youth), Jusos or Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund have more in common than many are aware today. Where are our roots?, what does that mean for us today and how do we deal with it?
In this lecture we want to shed light on the beginnings of the workers' youth movement and take a look at our common history. We look at the children's republics of the Kinderfreunde movement, talk about socialist education and discuss the present and future of youth associations.

Speaker: Sophie Reinlassöder, Archives of the Labor Youth Movement
