Love Kulturinteessierte and cultural workers,
the now eighth culture Stammtisch awaits you on Tuesday 3.3. one 19 Clock - and fortunately we are again at the Cultural slaughterhouse visits. The focus is to the theme of this evening voluntary work or precarious cultural work stand.
Creative work - but is also just work!? For all the diversity and diversity in artistic creation but all creative artists often have one common: Cultural work is poor in many cases, sometimes not paid. precarious (Self)Unfortunately pursuits are the norm, not the exception. We work (fast) for free, exhibit, organize cultural events, look after the cultural youth, record on wasteland, perform, pixels, rehearse - at times also a bit longer. No payment? No problem, has also somehow fun. To earn a living but we are working elsewhere.
What are the reasons? How can we live our cultural work? Why we are all equal, But when it comes to fair pay, we are still alone? And especially: what remains to be done? Surely these are too many questions for just one night, but a first beginning, we want to do together! A point of, for example, offers the newly established artists * internal trade, which will also be a guest.
Of course, again room for all other issues, the want to discuss it with each other as part of a cozy Stammtisch. The location of the documenta Institute, the Center for Culture- and creative industries, The vacancy index or the Cultural Advisory Council - at the multitude of cultural policy, it will not get bored!

Culture Stammtisch
At first culture Stammtisch in April 2018 in Skatehalle Mr. Wilson had been shown, that there is especially a need, get to know each other and informal exchange – also inspired by the workshops to Kassel Culture Conception 2030.
Since then we have found every three months topics and measures and projects proposed and implemented. For this we were changing Kassel cultivars guest: im Tokonoma, the DOCK4, collectively Café Spa in Sander house and at the slaughterhouse. We now know, that cooperation between ages, art- and cultural genres plate edges away, also 2020 will continue. For the format of culture Stammtisch we look forward with interest particularly rata cooperation and support in the organization and implementation.
