What's the matter?
Left-wing men are afraid of feminists. But one does not admit one's fear and represses it, for example, because it contradicts the positive self-image as a nice guy or a pro-feminist, one acts no less under their spell. The fear of women that is ready for aggression would be the only one, common to men in patriarchy in general, bad enough already. On the left, however, women don't just command through their bodies and their female sexuality, that attracts men at the same time, but also unsettled her in her masculine desire for autonomy. Here, women and other marginalized genders are also aware of their objectively shitty social situation. They organize themselves, collectively fight against sexism, sexual violence and male dominance. And because that's the way it is, it is no longer enough for left-wing men, the patriarchy always only with others, worse, strange, right-wing or racialized men. you feel: Her own shady relationship with women and sexuality is in the spotlight. And can have consequences. That's why left-wing men publicly profess feminism and find loud women somehow quite good, however, fight them from behind by all sorts of means: through passivity, Stubbornness and self-pity up to male intrigue. In the lecture, some observations and mechanisms of the phenomenon should be presented and shown, that practical antifeminism doesn’t need “antifeminists” – or does it, in other words: that needs no enemies, who has such allies.
