Your music moves between the Slowmotion coordinates, Melancholie und Minimalistik. Die Mischung aus elektrischer Gitarre und warmem Gesang ergibt melodischen Lo-Fi-Pop. Musik ist für die Zeit zwischen Mitternacht und Morgen, wenn man glauben könnte, daß die Welt zu Ende ist. Der Augenblick ist da und plötzlich hast du alle Zeit der Welt. Das neue Album „James Bond“ ist eine Mischung aus Indie, Neo-Wave und Dream-Pop zwischen Velvet Underground, The Cure und Johnny Cash. Es war “Album of the Week” bei u.a. Byte FM und Deutschlandfunk Kultur und hatte mit dem tollen dreampoppigen Titeltrack einen kleinen Radiohit.

Drunk at Your Wedding, named after an old Bill Callahan song, ist das Projekt der Berliner Singer/Songwriterin Nina Töllner. She enjoys gritty indie rock and traditional folk and has a flair for dark narratives and dry humor. So schlagen die Songs von DaYW immer wieder überraschende Haken, oscillate between fragile and loud and embed catchy melodies in a shadow play in a minor key. Das zweite DAYW-Album „I Have to Go Home“ (Bohemian Strawberry, 2021) received kind words from, among others,. Mirror online, Rolling Stone, VISIONS and Kaput Magazine. The sequel “Ghost Gear” (2023/24) cares little about classic song structures. Instead, he ventures into shoegaze- and stoner rock realms and fishes in human depths or the poetic peculiarities of the English language.
