MIGHT (Post-Black, Sludge, Doom, Sphere) – Founded in January 2020 by Ana Muhi (singing & Bass) and Sven Missullis (guitar, singing, Drums). While the outside world suddenly came to a standstill, the couple retreated to the studio two months after the band was founded to record their debut album, which in July 2020 released on EXILE ON MAINSTREAM Records.
On the occasion of this release, VISIONS Magazine presents the music video for the song Warlight domestically, while it will be presented in parallel by CVLT NATION in the USA.
The press describes the album as “heavy as fuck” (SCREAM BLAST REPEAT), “doesn´t-quite-sound-like-anything-else post-fuzz heavy rock and sludge” (THE OBELISK) and “schwarz” (ECLIPSED MAGAZIN). During METAL HAMMER the band as “Düsterduo” describes this attested by OX FANZINE “morbide weirdness” and that ROCK HARD finds “The couple indeed comes with power over us”. “MIGHT heralds both doom and hope” writes the MINT, and in its annual review, DEAF FOREVER mentions her as Newcomer of the Year.
Due to the known location, the band has only been able to play very few concerts since it was founded.
MIGHT played their second concert at the online edition of this year's ROADBURN FESTIVAL, which was subsequently published on YouTube.
In June 2021 The Italian label TAXI DRIVER RECORDS releases the debut album in a limited MC version.
Live, the duo works in an extraordinary way with video projections and thus becomes a trio.
The concert takes place in the basement of the Sandershaus.
