Local Blood – the electrifying post-punk sensation from Vilnius, Lithuanese. In the year 2022 she published "Dystopian Disco", Your first LP, The great promise and progress showed. After the release of their first album, they performed at all the most famous Lithuanian music events and festivals – “Devilstone”, Loft Fest, "8 Festival" im Gefängnis "Lukiškės" usw. The album “Dystopian Disco” earned them a nomination for Best Rock Band at the M.A.M.A. (Lithuania's biggest music awards), but the boys were already busy with their new project. This was in mid-November 2023 launched in the form of “Loverman” – a concept album about the criminal romanticism of early 90s Lithuania. One time, in which the country, after it regained its independence, adjusting to a new reality and all that dark gangster stuff. The LP “Loverman” was released on Europavox.com, CLASH, Bobe.me, post-punk.com & premiered on many other foreign platforms. At the live presentation of the album,"Local Blood" transformed Loftas (one of the coolest venues in Vilnius, Lithuanese) to a Twin Peaks-esque nightclub – and showed, that there is a lot of dark irony hidden beneath their music. In the year 2024 the band announced their first European spring tour, which introduced the audience to her album “Loverman”.. The tour started in Warsaw, im Club "Chmury", From there the boys went to several cities in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia and Hungary, and brought their signature blend of raw energy and Twin Peaks-esque melodies to fans across the continent. The band is now working on their new album and is planning some big concerts in Lithuania as well as an autumn tour, the Germany, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Hungary, will visit Austria and Poland. The guys from “Local Blood” are more than ready for Kassel.

In the original compositions of the Kassel instrumental rockers The Derailing you hear influences from different types of alternative/indie, Surf instrumentals and stoner rock. Also the comparison with some herbs- and post-rock bands is close. Improvised passages are an integral part, some of them towards chaos / Noise Rock derails.
