The Tuning Collective from Cologne with a dance performance in the Sandershaus Kassel. – Trusting irresponsible or Responsible suspicious? – The Tuning Collective comes to Kassel straight from a week of rehearsals in the artist village of Willingshausen, to fresh the current status of their collective, artistic research to share with you.
They work improvisationally in the interplay of music and dance. New situations are constantly arising, new moods and surprises.
“It's about exploring, what happens when the responsibility for the artistic process in the group, is located in the collective, So the direction not by one person, but comes from everyone.”
Also the place, where they appear, is always an important part of their performances and is woven into spontaneously composed pieces.

The Tuning Collective from Cologne, has 2021 founded. The international members of the ensemble have studied together at the Cologne University of Music and Dance, met. Since then they have been performing together regularly and researching their artistic material and their own language.
