The Kassel Art University invites you to take a tour 2024 (18. to 21. July) – Open days. workshops, Ateliers and studios for the fine arts courses, Product design, Art education, Art Research, Visual Communication and the Exhibition Hall open their doors at the end of the academic year.

Of painting, From sculpture and performance to design drafts and film screenings to sound installations, students show the results and processes of their artistic and creative work. Everyone is invited to the tour, the art school as a place of encounter and discourse for art, Want to get to know design and science.
The visual appearance of the exhibition is based on this year’s tour motto “Detox”. Of juice cleanses, Retreats, Aside from digital detox, the focus is on the human body. The student graphics team (Michelle Haupt, Karin Grünwald, Shirin Krastel) invite the viewer:inside to it, to look inside the body, which has an effective self-cleaning system. At the same time, they encourage it, to allow yourself to be drawn under the spell of physicality and sensuality.
The lived interdisciplinarity in teaching at the Kassel Art School can be read as an organism. These interdisciplinary connections become metaphorically as a living one, vibrant network translated visually: Through biomorphic structures, organic shapes and a delicate color scheme.
The tour 2024 is carried out by an interdisciplinary team of students led by Prof. Jan Peters (Major in film and moving images) designed and implemented.
Visiting the tour is free of charge and can be done during the opening hours mentioned without prior registration.
