An exhibition, two degrees:
How can you design as a Black designer?, without submitting to Western norms? The work ,Black Aesthetics’ decenters the Eurocentric design canon and puts marginalized aesthetic forms at the center. The three-part object series is based on this discussion ,Y3N’ was created, which manifests a creative alternative and new narratives.
The A delicate matter project understands textiles, Graphic design and artistic research as interwoven practices. Starting from the postpartum period, the period after birth, the work approaches something physical that has been made invisible, emotional and social processes.
