With the Covid-19 pandemic, a flood of conspiracy claims emerged, which manifested themselves in the form of lateral thinking demonstrations in public space.
Especially people, that of the esoteric, of anthroposophy and so-called. are inclined towards alternative healing methods, are particularly susceptible to anti-vaccination attitudes and conspiracy narratives. Why is that so?
These and other questions will be answered in this lecture. The lecture examines the connections between legal ideological conspiracy narratives and so-called. alternative healing methods and esotericism in general, as well as the special characteristics in the course of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nora Feline Pösl is a research associate at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Ruhr University Bochum and is doing her doctorate on the connections between so-called. alternative medicine, conspiracy theories and right-wing ideologies.
