Organized by Women Defend Rojava Kassel
On average, a woman is murdered every third day in Germany. Femicides are a cruel reality around the world and the tip of the iceberg of daily assault and violence against women *. That the vast majority of women * experience this violence in their own homes, makes even more invisible. The corona pandemic has exacerbated these conditions. At the same time, women * worldwide are resisting violent patriarchy and show solidarity across borders.
We would like to talk to the international women's meeting place UTAMARA about their experiences and the current state of patriarchal violence. Together we would like to ask ourselves the question, which possibilities of support and resistance are far from exhausted.
The workshop will take place online, so you can participate from different locations. Let us know, if you are interested (Email an ). We look forward to seeing you!
