The animal industry is fueling the climate crisis, inflicts terrible torture on animals, exploits people and endangers our health. All of this speaks for a fundamental transformation of our food system. But what does that mean specifically?? Friederike Schmitz shows in her current book “Differently fed up: “How to exit the animal industry” what political measures can be used to change eating habits and what is needed now, to transform agriculture fairly in a short space of time.
