Space for art and culture
The Sandershaus in the Bettenhausen district of Kassel sees itself as international, open-minded and creative place, the space offers, for everything that needs space.
We are a socio-cultural center and meeting place, run a bar and a shared accommodation for refugees. Since its founding 2017 The Sandershaus is actively involved in the development of the industrial district.

If you would like to stage your own project, You have the option of using our seminar room for conferences, Rent meetings or training courses.
Are you looking for a space with a nice audience for a performance by your band or theater group, our stage belongs to you. Don't you have your own band?, but would like to make music regularly in a nice group, join us on Mondays Salonmusik or Thursdays at Lala fire.
Space for crafts
Throwing it away is easy – repairing it requires hard work and craftsmanship. Ours is in the basement open workshop, for woodwork on Tuesdays between 15 pm and 18 Clock is open. You can also find this here Café'll fix takes place on the first Friday of the month. Our volunteers:inside are there to help and advise you.
We want to bring people with different backgrounds and origins together in the Sandershaus. In this way, the projects in our workshop help, to make social contacts.
Space for those, who are looking for space
Our shared accommodation is located on the upper floors of the building Amal for refugees.
The Sandershaus offers the space for personal initiative, To unite creativity and diverse togetherness under one roof and thus create a happy and colorful atmosphere.
