The Queer Center Kassel e.V. is an encounter- and networking location, Exchange-, Learn- and reflection space for people from Kassel and northern Hesse, who are discriminated against because of their sexual/romantic/gender orientation or gender identity. This applies, among other things, to lesbians, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter*, non-binary, asexual and queer people. There should be a culture of diversity, Solidarity and emancipation are promoted. The work of the Queer Center includes, among other things, the implementation of culture- and educational events, enlightenment- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Exchange with other organizations and clubs, who work on similar topics, Reducing prejudices against queer lifestyles and people and providing concrete support for queer people in all possible situations and situations. Low-threshold access is particularly important, also for people, experience multiple discrimination.

The Queer Center Kassel e.V. exists since 2021 and is currently in the construction phase and is located on Mauerstrasse 11 in the 5. Upper floor (address Google Maps). ZYou can reach the Queer Center via the stairwell or by elevator. After getting out of the elevator, go left through an intermediate door and then down a hallway, which bends to the left two more times.
The entrance door is a few meters downhill from the Königsplatz/Mauerstraße bus stop. There is a sign above the door, on the “Medical center” stands.
