Under the motto "Against war as a climate killer" took place on Friday, the 07.02.2020 a rally of the Fridays for Future movement took place in Kassel. Within sight of the Kraus-Maffei-Wegmann company premises (KMW) gathered around 80 People at the Witzenhäuser Straße stop. Various Kassel groups drew attention to the climate damage caused by war and the military in their speeches. The direct damage caused by emissions and environmental destruction was named, but the indirect climate effects were also discussed.
