Public prosecutor's office expands investigation
The Kassel public prosecutor's office has launched new investigations into four cases against former employees of the Lauterbad Institute recorded. It is about the suspicion of mistreatment of those under protection, assault and sexual abuse of children.

The former board criticized the conditions, that made sexual assaults possible and encouraged their inadequate processing. Opposite that hr said the mother of a former resident: “I find it unbearable, that things went on and on in Lauterbad and that people apparently looked the other way for years to come.”
