Under the motto “No profits from hardship: Socialize Wintershall!” demonstrated on Saturday, the 29.10.2022, around a hundred people in front of the headquarters of the Kassel-based oil and gas company Wintershall Dea for the redistribution of excess profits and for climate justice.
About 100 people were last Saturday, the 5. November, followed the appeal of the Kassel solidarity group for the imprisoned anti-fascist Lina. The Kassel-born student has been sitting since 5. November 2020 in custody, because the federal prosecutor accuses her, to have been involved in the planning and implementation of actions against neo-Nazis.
Numerous people demonstrated in Kassel at the weekend, to express their solidarity with the protests in Iran. There, a few days ago, 22-year-old Mahsa Amînî died in Iranian police custody as a result of injuries inflicted on her under torture.
On the evening of 24. April 2021 to have 50 People spontaneously demonstrated on the occasion of the recently introduced curfew in downtown Kassel. As in many other cities, a solidarity shutdown to combat the pandemic was called for instead of an authoritarian symbolic policy of the federal government.
