You can see it exhibition, that there are no millions in state cultural funding here material and she lives solely from the enthusiasm of the activists, without Glossy boards and female manager quota debates. It's about one left feminism, radical equality and the end of Dominion of men. The demands are so radical, so friendly are the faces. All are welcome.

In the overview about the material is remarkable, that many fights don't happen have changed significantly. The occupations, Protests and posters have too 40 Years later the same issues: Criminalization of abortion with §218, patriarchal violence and Rapes, Women's spaces, War opposition.

“You might get the impression, that there was more going on in the 80s. But feminist struggles have existed all along and feminist organizing continues today.”, says an activist from the committee, who was entrusted with researching the exhibition.

There will be a group of people sitting around for the lecture event in the evening 30 Women and queers get together and discuss the feminist revolution in northern Syria and its perspective in Germany. Communicated about this international claim and strategies, feminism in this country is given a new impetus. The Women Defend Rojava Committee picks up a thread here, who has accompanied the discussions in the women's movement for years: Kurdish feminists rely on autonomous self-organization in a council democracy. Educational events like this for women and queers took place every night of the week. According to the committee, there was a lot of participation.

"We want, that a feminist basis is emerging here, that is aware of its history and does not allow itself to be divided.”

“We want to do it, “To finally bring the feminist spectrums together in Kassel”, says activist Sarah* from the committee. Second and third women's movements, Queer feminists, Kurdish women's movement - they would all come after their day of struggle 8. March will also bring us together on a common level in terms of content. Of course, discussions are much easier when framed by one's own history and present: "We want, that a feminist basis is emerging here, that is aware of its history and does not allow itself to be divided.”

The open one feminist space has been closed again after a week, a temporary institution. The networks and strategies, which were exchanged here, are, however, of timeless value.
